The Parc dels Xiribecs in Amposta hosted the ninth edition of the Foodtrucks Festival this past weekend. The event, now fully established in the local calendar, reported a remarkable success, characterized by high public attendance, favorable weather conditions, and a significantly expanded artisanal and cultural offering.
“"It is an event that, year after year, reaffirms the potential of the park. This year, in addition to confirming the consolidation of the event, we had the extraordinary complement of the new concession of the park's bar, which added value to the activities."
The gastronomic proposal included 16 food trucks, complemented by an area dedicated to craft beer and local wines. The feedback from restaurateurs has been excellent, according to municipal sources, with new additions expressing their satisfaction with the volume of sales.
One of the most notable aspects of this edition was the growth of Crafty Day, the artisan fair. It expanded from 14 stalls last year to 26 this year, almost doubling its offerings and demonstrating significant interest in this type of creator market.
Coinciding with the festival, Amposta also celebrated International Dance Day. Performances by the Maria Lozano School and the Jacqueline Biosca School were particularly praised for their high standard. Additionally, attendees enjoyed dance exhibitions by Quick Dance and Gimnàs Alfaro, live music from Recol·lectors de Vinils, and a classic vehicle display organized by the Amics dels Clàssics.
