The production team aims to incorporate local residents to bring authenticity to the story. They are looking for people of all ages, including farm workers, fishermen, families, and young people, with no prior acting experience required.
The selection sessions will take place during July. On Friday the 17th, the Centre Cívic in Amposta will be used. On Saturday the 18th, the process will move to the Auditori in Els Muntells in the morning and the Casal Municipal in Sant Jaume d'Enveja in the afternoon. Finally, on Sunday the 19th, the casting will be held at the Sala Ereta of the Cambra Arrossera in Deltebre.
Filming is scheduled to take place between September and early October 2026 at various locations in the area. Participation in the film will be paid through an employment contract with Social Security coverage.
