La Ràpita hosts Sea Festival with nautical activities

La Ràpita will host the Sea Festival on Sunday, June 28, an initiative organized by the Nautical Station, La Cabanya, and the City Council to promote water sports.

The town of La Ràpita is preparing to host a new edition of the Sea Festival this Sunday, June 28. The event, jointly organized by the Nautical Station La Ràpita – Ebro Delta, La Cabanya, and the City Council of La Ràpita, has the main objective of bringing nautical activities closer to citizens and showcasing the natural environment of the bay.
The day will begin at 10:30 AM at La Cabanya facilities with participant registration. At 11 AM, a kayak excursion is scheduled, allowing participants to navigate the bay and approach the mussel rafts to learn about this space and its activities. The registration fee is €5 per person and includes participation, monitoring, accompaniment, and a life jacket. Registrations can be made through the Nautical Station's website.

For his part, the president of the Nautical Station La Ràpita – Ebro Delta, Joan Barberà, emphasized that the Sea Festival was created to introduce nautical activities to the local population and foster citizen engagement in tourism and maritime-related proposals. He added that this initiative aligns with the new tourism development strategies of the Catalan Tourism Agency.

The Sea Festival will continue from 12:30 PM with a musical aperitif organized by Vermut Rapitenc at the same La Cabanya facilities.
