The town of Les Cases d'Alcanar will host the inaugural edition of the Art i Mans fair next weekend, April 4th and 5th, with the goal of highlighting the region's artisan and creative talent.

This new initiative, taking place in Ramon Pous square from ten in the morning until eight-thirty in the evening on both days, aims to be a meeting point for artists, artisans, and the general public. The fair is scheduled during a period of high tourist activity, seeking to offer new proposals for the cultural, social, and economic revitalization of Les Cases d'Alcanar and its municipality.
Among its main objectives, Art i Mans seeks to promote local consumption, give visibility to artisan trades, and provide a space where local creators can connect with a wider audience. The event will not only feature exhibitor stalls but will also include live demonstrations and a performance by Can Cantem, a family musical show scheduled for Sunday at 5:30 PM in the same square.

"We want it to be a meeting point between artists, artisans, and citizens, a place where creativity in all its forms can be discovered and enjoyed. At the same time, it is also a way to promote local consumption and strengthen the cultural fabric of the municipality."

Mar Sancho · Councillor for Les Cases and Tourism
The organization of the fair benefits from the collaboration of Lo Raconet Màgic, a local business specializing in artisan jewelry. Paula Riba, founder of Lo Raconet Màgic, has expressed the intention to gradually expand the event, with the possibility of holding a second edition during the summer, aiming to bring a broad representation of the region's craftsmanship to Les Cases d'Alcanar.
