The municipality of Mas de Barberans (Montsià) celebrates its deeply rooted Festa de Sant Antoni next Saturday, January 17, with a program that includes fire, street shows, and music.

The celebration will begin at 6:30 PM in the Plaça de l’Església (Church Square), one of the key points of the route that will include various street performances. This festival, one of the most traditional in Mas de Barberans, will also cover the Era la Vila and the restaurant area.
The climax of the day will be the popular Correfoc del Golafre (Fire Run of the Glutton), an essential element of the festival. The central part of the celebration will culminate with the traditional and symbolic burning of the barraca (bonfire), an act highly anticipated by residents.
The party will continue starting at 10 PM with a popular dance session. Musical entertainment will be provided by the group Almas Gemelas, followed by a DJ session to extend the night.
Throughout the night, the local Penya Barcelonista (Barça Supporters Club) will be responsible for offering bar service and food at popular prices for all attendees.
