The Ulldecona City Council has initiated road repair works this week on rural roads affected by the DANA in October/November 2024, with a total investment of 627,990 euros.

The council awarded a project last February valued at 627,990 euros (519,000 euros plus 108,990 euros VAT) to rectify the damage caused by the torrential rains. These actions are supported by a 50% subsidy from the Ministry of Territorial Policy.
The company Regimovi S.L. has been awarded the contract for the work, which focuses on several sections of roads within the municipal area. Among the locations to be repaired are the roads of Senioles, Cantallops, Carrascal, Mas, Mallades, Nacaldés, Castellets, Mollons, Bassotes, Miliana, and the Xerta-Sénia canal.
In total, the works will cover 39.44 kilometers of rural roads. Of these, 32.8 kilometers are in the northern part of the municipality, bordering the terms of La Galera, Godall, and Mas de Barberans, while the remaining 6.62 kilometers are in the southern area.
