The festive music group Pepet i Marieta will end its 22-year career in 2026 with a final tour titled L’última i mo n’anem, culminating in Ulldecona.

The band, originating between Catalonia and the Valencian Country, announced that the decision to close the project after more than 700 concerts is due to "creative coherence" and not internal conflicts.

"The time has come to shed weight so we can fly higher."

The musicians explained that they want to dedicate more time and energy to other paths recently started, such as the La Colla Pirata project. Throughout their career, Pepet i Marieta has been characterized by a festive proposal with a firm discourse in defense of the language and the working classes.
The farewell tour, which will last throughout 2026, will be accompanied by several record releases conceived as a tribute to the shared journey. The group has released eight studio albums since its inception.

We want to sing everything one more time, reconnect with the people, and thank them for the shared journey.

The final concert will take place in Ulldecona, the town in Montsià where the band was formed, thus closing the circle of a trajectory marked by demands such as the fight against the Ebro river transfer and the defense that lo Sénia is not a border.
