A group of three to four thieves carried out a ram-raid robbery at Arrufat Jewelry in Plaça Major in la Sénia (Montsià) early Friday morning, crashing a vehicle into the storefront.

The incident took place around 3:15 AM on Friday, February 6, waking up many nearby residents due to the loud noise generated by the impact.
According to police sources, the assailants used one car to smash through the grille and display window of the establishment, located in the heart of the town.
Once inside, the thieves acted quickly, taking all the exposed jewelry within minutes. To escape, they abandoned the vehicle used for the ram-raid and sped away in a second car.
The Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan Police) have launched an investigation to identify and locate those responsible for this aggravated robbery in the Montsià municipality.
