ITE 2026 Concludes Successfully, Consolidating Terres de l'Ebre as a Youth Football Hub

The 18th edition of the international Easter tournament brought together 164 teams and 388 matches across 13 venues, highlighting its international reach and local economic impact.

The International Terres de l'Ebre Tournament (ITE) 2026 has concluded with a very positive outcome, solidifying its position as one of the most prominent international youth football tournaments during Easter Week in the region.

Between April 2 and 5, the 18th edition of the ITE hosted a total of 164 teams who played 388 matches. These games were distributed across 13 different venues in the Terres de l'Ebre, including towns such as Amposta, Tortosa, Alcanar, Ulldecona, Deltebre, la Ràpita, la Sénia, l'Ampolla, el Perelló, Camarles, l'Ametlla de Mar, Sant Jaume d'Enveja, and EMD Jesús.
The tournament reaffirmed its international character, with teams participating from various regions of Spain and countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, and Great Britain. This diversity contributed to a high competitive level and significant cultural enrichment for all participants.

In the case of Ulldecona, Deputy Mayor and Sports Councillor, Toni Pascual, highlighted that the event proceeded without any incidents, emphasizing that collaboration among players, technical teams, clubs, fans, and the general public, based on values such as respect and camaraderie, fosters the development of better individuals and a more just society.
The winners of the Gold Phase in the different categories were: CF Tortosa Ebre (S8), AEFA Alcanar (S9), CF Amposta (S10), Granada CF (S11), Fundació Futbol Base Reus (S12 Female), Levante UD (S12), Granada CF (S13), Real Zaragoza (S14 Female), CF Amposta (S14), UCF Cambrils (S15), and CF Amposta (S16).
The ITE organization extended its gratitude for the collaboration of local councils, sports entities, volunteers, and institutions, as well as the support from sponsors and collaborators, all of whom were key to the success of this edition. The next edition of the International Terres de l'Ebre Tournament already has confirmed dates and will take place from March 25 to 28, 2027.
