Over fifty people, including adults and children, participated last weekend in a family survival workshop in Camarasa, organized by La Noguera Bushcraft Montsec, where they learned bushcraft techniques and enjoyed nature without screens.

The event, held in Camarasa, allowed participants, both young and old, to delve into the world of bushcraft. The main goal was to disconnect from technology, get their hands dirty, and learn essential skills like making fire without a lighter, a proposal that proved to be a resounding success.
During the two-day event, attendees gained practical knowledge on how to build shelters, purify water, construct traps, track, and identify edible plants. All these activities were designed to foster a fun and useful reconnection with the natural environment.

"It's about children playing like they used to and families interacting in real time."

Organizers
The initiative exceeded all participation expectations. Most of the registered individuals came from the regions of Lleida, although families from Barcelona also attended, traveling exclusively for the workshop.
The project's promoters, Toni and Eduard, confirmed that they already have reservations for the next edition, scheduled for May 1st, including participants from Tarragona and Girona. Additionally, they have received requests to organize monographic courses focused on topics such as shelter construction or the use of plants.
The association also promotes slowdating workshops in nature, a modality that combines survival with socialization in small groups. This experience not only provides technical learning but also strengthens autonomy, confidence, and teamwork, reflecting a growing interest in educational and sustainable outdoor activities.
