The city of Balaguer hosted a solidarity day with the Cursa dels Somnis and Fira dels Somnis, mobilizing nearly a thousand people and raising over 60,000 euros for childhood cancer research.

This Sunday, Balaguer became the focal point of solidarity with the celebration of the tenth edition of the Fira dels Somnis, preceded by the Cursa dels Somnis. Nearly a thousand participants joined this morning initiative, which filled the capital of Noguera with solidarity activities.
The Morter de Balaguer area was the setting for a wide program that included workshops, exhibitions, demonstrations, and musical performances. These activities transformed the city into a benchmark in the fight against childhood cancer, attracting numerous visitors and participants.
The event saw the collaboration of nearly five hundred entities, city councils, associations, sports clubs, and companies from Noguera, who actively contributed to the cause. Thanks to this collective effort, over 60,000 euros have been provisionally raised, a figure that already surpasses previous editions and is expected to increase with funds collected during Sunday.
Beyond the economic success, the organization highlighted the consolidation of the event as an unmissable date on the solidarity calendar. All funds raised will be fully allocated to finance research and investigation projects led by the teams at Hospital Vall d'Hebron, with the aim of finding new solutions for childhood cancer.
