Nearly 800 runners gathered this Sunday in Balaguer for the 37th Half Marathon, setting a new all-time participation record for the event across its three different distances.

In the main 21km race, Xavier Tomasa secured first place with a time of 1:09:55, while Rosamaria Carulla led the women's category, finishing in 1:25:56. The event is a key fixture in the 2026 Ponent League.
Other winners included Pere Bifet and Blanca Vallés in the 10km category, and Javier Castells and Estel Jordan in the 5km sprint, marking a successful day for athletics in the Noguera region.
