The project, which has a global budget of 12.5 million euros, seeks to reduce urban inequalities and foster new opportunities in this area of the city. After the first application did not achieve the necessary score, the municipal motor group has worked for months to adapt the initiative to the program's evaluation criteria.
The intervention is structured into three main axes: urban, environmental, and community transformation. Among the most relevant changes, the creation of a network of green paths connecting various public spaces stands out, as well as the planning of a new socio-community center.
Housing remains the central element of the urban strategy. In addition, the plan includes specific measures to improve waste management, street lighting, street cleaning, and public safety in the neighborhood.
