The Balaguer City Council is preparing a 20 million euro proposal for the Generalitat's 2025-2029 Neighborhood Plan, aiming to revitalize the city's historic heart and improve social integration.

Mayor Lorena González confirmed that the project is being finalized by municipal technicians and specialist architects. The plan incorporates feedback from local residents to address specific needs in the old town area.

"We are finalizing the points that must respond to the call's demands and reflect the requests made by the neighbors."
