The thirty-second edition of the Winter Sales Market, organized by the Associació de Comerciants de Balaguer (Balaguer Merchants Association), gathered about twenty establishments from the capital of Noguera. Throughout the morning, businesses offered substantial discounts to customers with the goal of liquidating accumulated seasonal stock.
The products offered included clothing, shoes, accessories, and household items. This initiative, which took place along a stretch of the Estació Promenade, aims to highlight the importance of supporting small local businesses against the strong competition from large commercial areas.
The sales market is very consolidated, and we registered a good influx of public throughout the morning.
The market received institutional support from the Paeria de Balaguer (City Council), Som Comerç Balaguer, and the Generalitat (Catalan Government), entities that promote local commerce. The organizing association holds several seasonal markets throughout the year, in addition to commercial campaigns featuring raffles and live performances to revitalize neighborhood trade.
