The event, titled “Biogas as an opportunity for the livestock world,” took place at the Balaguer Business and Innovation Center (CEI Balaguer) and featured various activities and talks. The main objective was to underscore the relevance of biogas as a sustainable energy alternative, especially linked to the primary sector.
The gathering sought to provide tools and share experiences that facilitate the creation of new business models. This initiative aims to contribute to the development of rural areas, promoting the growth of biogas as an energy resource both in Catalonia and at a European level.

The mayor of Balaguer, Lorena González, positively valued the organization of this conference in the city, highlighting the municipal commitment to this energy model. The event was organized by the Catalonia Bioenergy Cluster, with the collaboration of the Paeria de Balaguer and the Energy HubLab.
