A technical conference held this Tuesday at CEI Balaguer brought together experts to analyze the potential of biogas as a renewable energy source for the livestock sector, aiming to foster energy independence and rural development.

The event, titled “Biogas as an opportunity for the livestock world,” took place at the Balaguer Business and Innovation Center (CEI Balaguer) and featured various activities and talks. The main objective was to underscore the relevance of biogas as a sustainable energy alternative, especially linked to the primary sector.
The gathering sought to provide tools and share experiences that facilitate the creation of new business models. This initiative aims to contribute to the development of rural areas, promoting the growth of biogas as an energy resource both in Catalonia and at a European level.

"With the obtaining of biogas, the sector can be less dependent on global markets."
