The Joves i Valors program has launched a new edition in Balaguer, focusing efforts on improving the playground at Escola La Noguera with the participation of over fifty young people.

The summer volunteer initiative, Joves i Valors, has commenced a new edition in Balaguer. This year, the project centers on transforming the playground of Escola La Noguera, where more than fifty participants, aged between first and fourth year of ESO, will collaborate for three weeks.
The young participants will undertake various tasks including sanitation, cleaning, painting, and restoration of the space. Supported by professionals and age-appropriate activities, the aim is not only to enhance the environment but also to foster values such as commitment, responsibility, and teamwork among the participants.
A notable new feature of this edition is the integration of the JoVa program with Cota Zero. This combination will allow young people to enjoy up to five weeks of combined volunteer and leisure activities during their summer holidays.
As recognition for their involvement and effort, participants will receive a final compensation in the form of a recreational trip to PortAventura, marking the conclusion of this program edition.
This initiative, jointly organized by the Oficina Jove de la Noguera and the Youth Area of the Paeria de Balaguer, reaffirms its commitment to engaging young people in the care and improvement of the municipality, promoting an active and participatory summer.
