The 17th edition of the Montgai Soap and Natural Cosmetics Fair, known as Fira Net, will feature a new 2.5-kilometer wellness route that connects with the novel El carreró de Montgai and the spirit of the event.

This initiative, named L'essència de Montgai (The Essence of Montgai), will allow visitors to explore various locations in the Noguera town that appear in the literary work. The path will be adorned with illustrations inspired by the novel and distinctive bubble-shaped signage, an element directly evoking the fair's theme.
The presentation of this new feature took place yesterday, with the participation of Sandra Castro, vice president of the Diputació; Jaume Gilabert, mayor of Montgai; and Teresa Solé, an expert in artisanal soap making. The event, scheduled for Sunday, will also host the 10th Popular March of Baix Sió.

The highlight of the day, however, will be L'Ensabonada de Montgai, which will invite visitors, residents, artisans, vendors, and families to fill the town's sky with thousands of bubbles.

The Montgai Soap and Natural Cosmetics Fair was established in 2008 with the aim of reviving the municipality's soap-making tradition. This year, the event will feature 15 stalls dedicated to artisanal soap and natural cosmetics, in addition to 30 stands offering local products. The program will be complemented by family activities, traditional soap-making demonstrations, workshops, shows, and various cultural proposals for all audiences.
