On Sunday, September 20th, Sant Martí del Brull will be the setting for a day dedicated to honey, beekeeping, and crafts from the Montseny Natural Park, a Biosphere Reserve. The well-established fair highlights local products and the beekeeping trade.
The morning program will include Beekeeping Technical Sessions, with talks such as 'Swarm Control using the Demaree Method' by Aleix Ribera, and 'Seven management techniques to control swarming with Apicedario' by Joseba Legarreta. The VI Contest for the best certified organic honey will also take place, alongside stalls from producers and artisans.
Activities open to the public include breakfast at 9:30 AM, a children's workshop to make beeswax candles at 11:00 AM, a honey tasting at 12:00 PM, and the award ceremony for the honey contest at 1:30 PM.
Concurrently, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, the Park Morning of the Viu el parc program will be held. This recreational and family-friendly space will offer circus games, craft workshops with Talleret Craft, a storytelling session by Susagna Navó at 11:00 AM, and will conclude with a closing performance by La Bitxicleta at 12:30 PM.
The El Brull Town Council invites everyone to participate in this comprehensive day that combines the promotion of local products with cultural and family activities in a privileged natural setting.
