The Catalan Skating Federation (FCP) has announced the draw for the first phase groups of the Women's Catalan League and the Catalan Silver League. The men's team of Club Patí Manlleu, the reigning champion, will begin their title defense on Saturday, August 29, against Tordera.
Jordi Boada's team will also face GEiEG on Wednesday, September 2, and will close the group stage by hosting Vila-seca on Sunday, September 6. This final match could be decisive for their aspirations.
Meanwhile, the women's team, coached by Maria Díez, will debut on September 23 away against Bigues i Riells. The second match will be at home against Alpicat on September 26, and the first phase will conclude by hosting Voltregà on Saturday, October 3, in a local derby that could determine their passage to the final stage.
The club has also confirmed several key contract renewals for the upcoming season. Top scorer Valentina Fernández will continue to bring her goal-scoring prowess to the women's team, having scored 21 goals and provided three assists last season. For the men's team, Jordi Gurt, Rubén Martin, and Biel Humà will remain. Gurt contributes goals and speed (15 goals), Martin provides defensive security, and Humà adds more goals and attacking options (10 goals and 9 assists).
