A resident of Vic has voiced dissatisfaction with the recent implementation of bike lanes on the Ronda Camprodon, calling it a "totally failed idea". According to the citizen, instead of reducing traffic, the measure has generated "brutal traffic jams" at certain times of the day, citing an example of a gridlock on September 9th around 6:15 PM, where it took 15 minutes to cover a short stretch without seeing any bicycles pass.
The citizen laments the "very poor management" and the "shame" this situation represents, despite acknowledging that they don't usually drive but sometimes it is "inevitable due to personal circumstances".

In response, the Vic City Council recalled that the creation of bike lanes and the reduction of lanes on the Ronda Camprodon took place in August 2020, as part of a broader plan to establish cycle paths throughout the city. While acknowledging that the circulation of bicycles and scooters is not comparable to that of cars, the local administration defends the right of these vehicles to have their "circulation space".
