The Generalitat's headquarters in Girona hosted the event, jointly organized by the Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), the University of Girona (UdG), the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA), and the Government of Catalonia itself. The director of the Ter Consortium, Teia Puigvert, participated in the meeting.
The shared agenda methodology aims to combine the visions of different actors to address complex water-related issues. During the session, obstacles and drivers for achieving water security were identified, laying the groundwork for future action portfolios.
The workshop was structured into seven working tables focused on five key axes: circular water, governance, economic signals, territorial adaptation, and ecosystems. The process will continue in November with a second part of the workshop to define the first transformative initiatives and projects.
