Sant Quirze de Besora is preparing to host a new edition of the Trail del Bisaura this Saturday, October 17th, a sporting event that will bring together hundreds of runners and mountain enthusiasts, with four different races and temporary mobility disruptions.

The green area of Can Guixà will be the event's central hub, serving as the start and finish point for the various sports categories. The event promises to fill the town's streets with a festive and sporting atmosphere.
This year's edition offers four modalities adapted to different levels: El Putu Trail (55 km) starting at 7:30 AM, La Mitja (26 km) at 9:30 AM, La Caminada (5 km) at 10:00 AM, and La Curta (14 km) at 11:00 AM. These races will allow participants to discover the natural surroundings of Bisaura.
Due to the event, there will be temporary road closures and parking restrictions, particularly on Carrer Sant Josep and Carrer Jeroni Guixà, starting Friday. The City Council requests the cooperation of residents and recommends prioritizing walking.
The Trail del Bisaura has established itself as a significant sporting event that showcases the region's natural heritage. The Sant Quirze de Besora City Council thanks the organization, volunteers, and collaborators, as well as the understanding of the local community.
