The socio-employment insertion initiative by the Tremp City Council has concluded with a diploma award ceremony for 69 participants (29 women and 40 men) from various backgrounds and ages. The training actions took place until July.
The training focused on two main areas of local impact: technical trades, such as painting and plumbing, and the socio-health sector, with specialization in elderly care, palliative care, and grief support. Participants received personalized guidance for job searching, including resume improvement and strategies for successful selection processes.
The award ceremony was attended by Carlos Trinidad, Councilor for Welfare and Health, and Joaquim Majoral, Councilor for Maintenance and Public Works, who highlighted the students' commitment to learning. The City Council is already preparing the next edition, which will include training in pastry making, stonemasonry, and tiling.
These initiatives are subsidized through the Treball als Barris (Work in Neighborhoods) program, with co-financing from the Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy (SEPE).
