The councilor for Ara Tremp has confirmed his intention to run again as the head of the party list for the 2027 municipal elections, aiming to continue the work started in the current legislature.

The announcement was made public during an interview on the Àmbit Municipal program of Ràdio Tremp - la Veu de la Conca, where the representative of Ara Tremp expressed his desire to continue working for the municipality. This decision makes the party the first to make a move ahead of the May 2027 elections in the capital of Pallars Jussà.
The councilor, who joined the Tremp council in 2023, faces this new challenge with the experience gained over the past four years. As he explained, this period has allowed him to identify the weaknesses of the locality. The candidacy will maintain the essence of the original group, as the team will be composed of practically the same people who ran in the last elections.

"This time has served him to identify the municipality's weak points."

In the 2023 elections, which marked Ara Tremp's debut in the capital of Pallars Jussà, the party obtained 217 votes, a figure that allowed it to secure a councilor seat. Looking ahead to the next elections, Ara Tremp has already defined some of its programmatic priorities.
The central pillar of the program will be economic promotion, an area in which the councilor wants to place special emphasis, doubling current resources and highlighting the role of fairs. Ara Tremp is part of Ara Pacte Local (ARA-PL), the municipalist platform born from the collaboration of PDECat and Ara Catalunya. This movement, which advocates a territorial focus away from the directives of major national parties, has decided to run again throughout Catalonia after consolidating its structure with mayoralties such as those in Mollerussa or Aitona.
