Primary school children from Isona have participated in an initiative to learn about local commerce, visiting shops and reflecting on their role in community development.

Third and fourth-grade primary students from the AESO School in Isona participated this week in an educational activity focused on local commerce. The initiative, part of the #FemPallars program by the Ajuntament de Tremp, aims to raise awareness among young people about the economic and social relevance of local businesses.
The main objective is to introduce children to the reality of shops in their area, highlighting the work of traders and their role in the daily life of the towns. The activity combined theoretical sessions in the classroom with participatory dynamics, including role-playing games, to understand consumption habits and the challenges faced by small businesses.
The program concluded with visits to three businesses in Isona, where students had the opportunity to talk with the managers and gain firsthand knowledge of how the establishments operate and the daily tasks involved in providing a local, quality service.
This educational action continues similar initiatives carried out in other municipalities of Pallars Jussà. The program, which began in May in Tremp, plans further sessions in the autumn at other educational centers in the region to strengthen the connection between new generations and the local business community.
