The sporting event began with cool temperatures that gradually rose throughout the morning, under spectacular weather conditions. The race offered three categories: 12 km, 24 km, and 30 km, starting from La Torre de Capdella.
The more than 80 registered participants in the Skyrace 30 km were the first to set off at 7:30 AM, embarking on a challenging route that included ascents to points like Peirafita peak (1,780 m) and Pala de Montferri (2,463 m), traversing the Aguiró mountain. The overall winners of this distance were Laura Bruch (3h 59m) in the women's category and Lluís Salcedo (3h 13m) in the men's.
A timed section between Aguiró and Pala de Montferri was one of the key points of the 30 km race, covering 5.4 km with a 1,084 m elevation gain, rewarding the fastest runners with spectacular high-mountain views and special recognition.
The 23 km distance attracted over 124 participants who started their race at 8 AM, sharing part of the course with the longer race. The winners were Paula López (2h 45m) for women and Aaron Álvarez (2h 16m) for men, the latter being a member of the Catalan and Spanish mountain ski teams.
The 12 km race, with over 250 participants, was the most popular, drawing both mountain runners and hiking enthusiasts, and also serving as a breeding ground for young talents. Aina Garreta (1h 23m) and Aleix Garriga (1h 16m) won the overall categories. In the U16 category, siblings Queralt Alegret (2h 05m) and Gerard Alegret (1h 42m) were the winners.
The event concluded with a popular lunch and an awards ceremony, attended by local authorities such as Josep M. Dalmau, mayor of La Torre de Capdella, and Ramon Jordana, president of the Pallars Jussà Regional Council. The oldest participant, Manolo Rodríguez (86 years old), and the youngest, Lau Farràs (born in 2008), were also recognized.
Participants highlighted the condition of the trails, the variety of terrains and landscapes, as well as the excellent organization and volunteer work, all key elements to La Cabanera's success, which maintains its popular character.
