La Pobla de Segur opens tender for Collegats Greenway construction

The project, valued at 363,000 euros, aims to boost sustainable tourism and cycling in the Pallars Jussà region.

The La Pobla de Segur City Council has launched a tender this Monday for the construction of phases 1 and 2 of the Collegats Greenway, with a budget of 363,642.78 euros.

This project is part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan for the 2023-2026 period, fully funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU recovery funds. The initiative aims to promote la Pobla de Segur as a hub for sustainable outdoor sports and cycling.
The current tender follows a negotiated procedure after two previous attempts in 2025 failed to attract bidders. Interested companies have until March 3rd to submit their proposals. The greenway will connect the region from Cellers to the Morreres rest area, serving both cyclists and hikers.
