Entrepreneur Albert Codina, originally from Figuerola d'Orcau, has launched alBosc, a digital accommodation platform prioritizing sustainability and direct contact in Pallars Jussà.

This new technological tool was created to combat mass tourism and rural depopulation. Unlike international giants, Codina's proposal focuses on a local model that already features fifty registered houses and nearly 700 users in its first few weeks.

"alBosc was born to offer a fairer alternative, created from the territory and designed for those who actually live in and care for these places."

A key highlight of the project is its commitment to its home region. While the platform plans to apply a fixed fee starting in 2027 for the rest of Catalonia, owners in Pallars Jussà and Pallars Sobirà will have permanent free access.
The platform also features innovations such as an Artificial Intelligence search engine. This tool allows travelers to describe their ideal experience in natural language to find the perfect match.
