The region's olive oil production has reached new heights in the latest official tasting. Oli del Boix, produced by Cal Boix in Guàrdia de Noguera, achieved the highest local score with 91.54 points. This 100% arbequina oil was previously honored at the National Awards for its excellence.
Significant recognition was also given to projects focusing on recovered local varieties. Furro oil from Gavet de la Conca and Cimma Massanell from Sant Martí de Barcedana both scored highly, showcasing the region's commitment to agricultural heritage and organic production.
