Nearly 700 farmers and ranchers in Pallars Jussà and Pallars Sobirà are set to vote on February 27 to determine the leadership of agricultural organizations in Catalonia.

The census includes 676 voters in the Pallars region. These elections will decide who sits at the Agricultural Table, the main negotiation body with the Government of Catalonia, until 2031. Five organizations, including Unió de Pagesos and JARC, are contesting the seats.

"Every municipality with more than 15 voters will have a polling station."

Cristina Massot · General Secretary of the Department of Agriculture
Polling stations will be open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The main challenges for the sector include production costs, generational renewal, and wildlife management, making the Pyrenees vote vital for national decision-making.
