The Tremp Institute hosted the third edition of the GeoXperts conference this Thursday, bringing together 4th-year ESO students from across the Alt Pirineu and Aran regions.

Participants arrived from schools in Val d'Aran, la Pobla de Segur, Sort, la Seu d'Urgell, and Esterri d'Àneu. The event aims to promote geological knowledge and foster a sense of territorial identity among young people through biology and geology studies.
Students worked in mixed groups of 12 to solve challenges at various locations in Tremp. The highest-scoring team will win a hot air balloon flight over the Orígens Geopark, a prize funded by IDAPA.
Organized by the Camp d'Aprenentatge de Tremp, the event saw collaboration from the ICGC and the Orígens Geopark, which assisted in designing the activities and providing necessary facilities.
