This year's awards focus on local institutions celebrating 50 years of history, including the Pureza de María and Ferran i Clua schools, Gimbernat University Schools, and the Esbart Sant Cugat dance group. The Corral Butchery will also be honored for its centenary. These awards recognize the vital contribution of these entities to the city's social and cultural fabric.
Individual winners include film director Judith Colell for her movie Frontera, artist Maria Fabre, and astronomer Joan Miquel González. The Extraordinary Award for a lifetime career will be presented to Ramon Grau i Soldevila, a prominent figure in local journalism and founder of the Tot Sant Cugat weekly magazine.
The gala at the Emma Vilarasau Theater will be hosted by comedian Pep Plaza and journalist Ester Castanyer. Musical performances will feature the Diletant Orchestra of Catalonia and the Harmonia de Valldoreix Choir, performing a new arrangement of the city's anthem by Toni Xuclà.
