The Government of Catalonia has officially designated the town of Tremp as a Point of Artisan Interest, a title that honors the preservation of traditional trades and local production in the Pallars Jussà region.

This recognition highlights the active presence of artisans in the historic center of the city. The local craft scene includes jewelry, textiles, graphic arts, and illustration, all of which play a vital role in the social and economic life of the municipality.
The Tremp Town Council promoted the bid with the support of local creators. This status aims to boost sustainable tourism and ensure the future of these traditional professions. Tremp now joins other recognized locations such as Olot and Barcelona's Gràcia district.
The official celebration of this certification will take place during the Pallars Terra de Corder Fair on May 2nd and 3rd, marking a milestone for the local artisan community.
