The festival, with over 25 years of history, solidifies its position as a cultural and musical benchmark for summer in Pallars. The official opening took place on August 1st at the Rialp church with a concert by Marc Parrot and the Quartet Brossa, who presented their show 'El frec i la bala'.
The opening weekend also featured two other events: the performance by Júlia Perarnau and Joana Gallart in the Festival Rialp Jove section, held at the Caregue church, and a lecture on Manuel de Falla by musicologist Joan Vives in the plenary hall of the Rialp Town Hall.
Music will continue to be the focus at the Rialp church in the coming days. On Saturday, August 8th, the vocal group Metropolitan Union will present their show 'Barberismes'. Later, on Thursday, August 13th, the renowned pianist Daniel Ligorio will perform the recital 'Granada 1920'.
The festival's closing is scheduled for Sunday, August 16th, with the presentation of the joint project by Anna Roig and Carles Belda, titled 'Passar-la bé', marking the end of two weeks of cultural activities in the municipality.
