The President of the Catalan Parliament, Josep Rull, visited several municipalities in the Pla d'Urgell region yesterday to hear firsthand about the challenges facing the local farming industry.

At the Linyola Agricultural Cooperative, farmers expressed their alarm over the soaring prices of fertilizers and fuel. Rull pledged to bring these concerns to the Parliament, emphasizing the need for sensitivity towards the sector's current difficulties and supply limitations.
The visit also highlighted local business innovation at Romà Infraestructures in Miralcamp. After visiting Sidamon and Castellnou de Seana, Rull concluded the day with a lecture in Linyola, where he reflected on his personal experiences and the solidarity he encountered during his time in prison.
