The Mollerussa City Council has activated the first phase of a 2 million euro investment plan aimed at improving public infrastructure and ensuring full accessibility across the municipality.

Mayor Marc Solsona announced that 23% of the budget is already in the drafting stage. A key priority is the modification of 132 non-accessible pedestrian crossings, a project with a 200,000 euro allocation to meet current mobility standards.
The plan also earmarks funds for new street furniture and vertical signage. A significant technical update includes the geolocating of all urban assets to streamline future maintenance and resource management, representing an investment of over 100,000 euros.
Major roads such as the N-II highway and Canal Avenue will see significant improvements. Construction is expected to begin between May and June, serving as a precursor to a larger 1.5 million euro street resurfacing project scheduled for a later date.
