The Mayor of Mollerussa, Marc Solsona, presented this March a record-breaking program of 24 technical sessions for the 153rd Sant Josep Fair, focusing on the future of farming.

The capital of Pla d'Urgell is set to become a knowledge hub for the primary sector with its most extensive training schedule to date. These conferences, now in their 46th year, attract approximately 2,000 attendees annually to discuss the latest agricultural trends.

"The technical sessions are one of the great bets of the event."

Key topics this year include climate change adaptation, digitalization, and generational renewal in farming. Notable events include a lecture by meteorologist Francesc Mauri on March 20th and specialized sessions by IRTA regarding the environmental future of Catalonia.
The sessions will be held across eight different venues in Mollerussa. While the main fair runs from March 19th to 22nd, some activities have been scheduled earlier to de-seasonalize the professional program.
