Mollerussa unveils 'Ens volem vives i lliures' mural for International Women's Day

The city of Mollerussa has inaugurated the mural Ens volem vives i lliures, a work by artist Txus Montejano located on Domènec Cardenal street to mark International Women's Day.

The capital of Pla d'Urgell presented the artwork on March 6th. The mural was painted on a wall provided by the Roure family, serving as a permanent symbol of the city's dedication to social justice.

Commemorative events continue this Sunday at the L'Amistat theater. The institutional act will feature journalist Anna Gómez, former deputy director of the newspaper Segre.
The ceremony will also include a tribute to eight members of the L'Albada association born in 1945, honoring their lifelong contributions to the local society.
