The Federation of Fairs of Catalonia (FEFIC) has appointed a technician from Fira de Mollerussa as its new second vice-president, a role that enhances the presence of the Pla d'Urgell capital within the Catalan fair entity.

The Board of Directors of the Federation of Fairs of Catalonia (FEFIC) approved the appointment of a technician from Fira de Mollerussa as second vice-president on Thursday, April 16. This professional, who currently holds management positions at the fair entity in the capital of Pla d’Urgell, replaces the former director of another fair in Lleida.
The new vice-president, who previously served as FEFIC secretary, holds a degree in Labor Relations from the UdL and is a senior technician in occupational risk prevention and self-protection plans. He has been part of the staff at Fira de Mollerussa since 2004, where he has performed various management duties.
FEFIC, established in 1995, currently comprises 59 associated members, with nine from the Lleida demarcation. These members represent approximately 300 fairs across Catalonia. Its primary mission is the coordination, representation, management, defense, and promotion of fair events held throughout the Catalan territory.
In addition to Mollerussa, other towns in the Lleida demarcation that are part of FEFIC include Lleida, La Seu d’Urgell, Les Borges Blanques, Balaguer, Agramunt, Tremp, La Pobla de Segur, and Os de Balaguer.
