The Mollerussa City Council has been forced to intervene with rapid repairs following months of power outages across several key avenues, while planning a comprehensive network overhaul.

The outages have affected various areas of the municipality, including Avinguda del Canal, Avinguda de la Pau, Avinguda Catalunya, and Ronda de Sant Pere. Residents have expressed concern about the risk posed by the lack of illumination, especially in nearby streets like Carrer de l'Onze de Setembre.

"The number of failures in the electric lighting is high, and the current formula, although necessary, does not correct the deficiencies of origin."

Marc Solsona · Mayor of Mollerussa
The Mollerussa City Council, led by Mayor Marc Solsona and New Works Councillor Josep Maria Garrofé, has established a dual strategy: rapid interventions to immediately restore service after each breakdown.
The second front involves preparing a comprehensive modernization project to reduce the frequency of these incidents. This renewal will be a prominent item in the municipal budgets for 2026, as the current contract relies exclusively on corrective maintenance.
