The El Recòndit festival concluded its sixth edition this Friday, after presenting twenty concerts since March in the nine least populated municipalities of Pla de l'Estany. The final event took place in Riudellots de la Creu with a performance by Roger Mas and the Cobla Sant Jordi.
With a total of 7,650 spectators, the 2026 edition consolidates the project and its territorial presence. For paid concerts, over 40% of attendees came from Pla de l'Estany and 82.5% from the Comarques Gironines. These percentages are even higher for free concerts, highlighting the festival's strong connection to the region.
El Recòndit once again opted for outdoor natural spaces, located in municipalities such as Camós, Cornellà del Terri, Crespià, Esponellà, Fontcoberta, Palol de Revardit, Sant Miquel de Campmajor, Serinyà, and Vilademuls. Local gastronomy, featuring km 0 products like cheeses from Mas Alba, oil from Mas Auró, walnuts from Crespià, and honey from Dolça Abella, also played a significant role.
This year's artistic program combined renowned Catalan artists with emerging talents and Spanish acts rarely seen in the Girona region. Among the artists who performed at the festival were Maria del Mar Bonet and Borja Penalba, Ismael Serrano, Ramon Mirabet, Maria Jaume, Maika Makovski, and Andrés Suárez.
Several premieres and unique formats were highlighted, including La Nit de les Roses by Mishima, the debut of Max Navarro after his participation in "Operación Triunfo", and album presentations by artists such as Joan Miquel Oliver, Quartet Mèlt, and Àlex Pérez, reaching municipalities with fewer than 2,000 inhabitants.
