On Sunday morning, firefighters rescued a hiker in la Morera de Montsant who had slipped off a cliff and was miraculously caught by a tree.

The rescue operation in the Grau de Carrasclet area involved a helicopter and specialized GRAE mountain rescue units. Rescuers used ropes to reach the man, who was trapped in a difficult-to-access spot.
Despite the dangerous fall, the hiker was unharmed. After a medical check-up by the SEM team, he was able to continue his route through the Montsant mountain range.
