The organization revealed the names of the winners of the initiative, which aims to promote Catalan culture among young people. In Category B, reserved for participants aged 10 to 14, the winning texts were El nen de les pors (The Boy of Fears), written by Biel Casamayor Farran, and On ets reina i senyora de Boscalt? (Where are you, Queen and Lady of Boscalt?), authored by Aina Garcia Nogués.
The contest jury consisted of Joan Graell, Isidre Domenjó, Laura Casanovas, Anna Martí, and a member of the Germandat itself. It should be noted that, regarding Category A (15 to 18 years), the jury decided to leave the prize vacant this year.
The submitted texts could not exceed 300 words and were required to include a reference to a tradition of the Alt Urgell region.
The official awards ceremony will take place on January 19 at the Germandat premises, coinciding with the Sant Sebastià festivities. The organization thanked all participants and highlighted the support of collaborators such as Edicions Salòria, Quin Xou Teatre, the Unió de Botiguers de la Seu d'Urgell (UBSU), and the Ajuntament de La Seu d’Urgell.
