The three nuclear power units in Catalonia produced a total of 22,800 GWh throughout 2025, accounting for 58.8% of the region's total electricity generation, according to ANAV data.

The Ascó I plant led the statistics with 7,991.3 GWh, followed by Vandellós II with 7,392 GWh and Ascó II with 7,280.6 GWh. This combined output represents 8.6% of the total net production of the Spanish mainland electrical system.
According to the management company, this production is equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 19.7 million households. Furthermore, the use of nuclear energy prevented the emission of 8.4 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere during the year.
