The Flix City Council, together with the Union of Merchants of Flix, has created the Local Commerce Trajectory Award to honor establishments with a long history in the municipality.

This new distinction aims to recognize businesses that have become a benchmark in Flix, contributing to keeping the town's economic, social, and commercial fabric alive over the years. The award seeks to highlight the dedication, effort, and rootedness of local businesses that have left their mark on several generations of residents.
Establishments eligible for the award must have a minimum trajectory of fifty years in Flix, maintain continuous involvement in local commerce, and have stood out for their contribution to the municipality. In this inaugural edition, a selection of businesses will be directly proposed by the organizers to initiate the recognition.
From next year onwards, a public call for applications will be opened. Proposals will be evaluated by a jury comprising the Mayor of Flix, the Councillor for Commerce, and the President of the Union of Merchants of Flix, who will consider aspects such as historical trajectory, local roots, and generational continuity.
The awards ceremony will take place on June 20, coinciding with the Shopping Night Market organized by the Union of Merchants and the City Council, where the distinguished establishments will receive a commemorative award.
