The Nuclear Transition Fund has approved a 6.5 million euro investment to expand the Verdeguera III industrial estate in Móra d'Ebre by 2027.

The project will provide 16 hectares of industrial land to attract new businesses and support the growth of existing ones. Currently, 40% of the planned area is already sought after by various companies. The expansion leverages the town's strategic location near the C-12 and N-420 highways.

"This is a decisive step to guarantee new job opportunities for our youth and maintain the population in the territory."

Rubén Biarnés · Mayor of Móra d'Ebre
Additionally, 3.25 million euros were granted to the Les Forques estate in Bot. These combined efforts represent a nearly 10 million euro commitment to economic reactivation in regions affected by the upcoming nuclear plant closures.
