Móra la Nova hosts the start of the inter-regional school chess phase

Around fifty young players will compete this Saturday at the Pavelló Firal in the Ribera d'Ebre region.

The Pavelló Firal de Móra la Nova will host the opening round of the inter-regional school chess phase of the Jocs Esportius Escolars this Saturday, March 7th.

Organized by the Agrupació de Consells Esportius de les Terres de l'Ebre, the tournament will bring together about fifty players from the Ebre regions and Priorat. The Ribera d'Ebre Sports Council will coordinate this first session starting at 3:30 PM.
The competition features mixed categories ranging from pre-benjamín to juvenile. Matches will follow the FIDE Swiss system over six rounds, with a 60-minute time limit per game.
Following the event in Móra la Nova, the circuit will move to Roquetes on March 14th and conclude in Pinell de Brai on April 11th.
