The project plans for the installation of six large wind turbines with a total capacity of 43.2 MW within the municipality of Tivissa. The promoter of the power plant is Desarrollos Eólicos Tivissa III SLU.
The evacuation lines, which will be underground and include medium and high voltage sections, will cross several counties. In addition to Tivissa, the route passes through l'Ametlla de Mar (in Baix Ebre) and Vandellòs i l'Hospitalet de l'Infant (in Baix Camp).
The declaration of public utility is a necessary step that will allow the forced expropriation of the affected assets. It is estimated that this measure will impact nearly 300 properties, both private and public, required for construction and transmission lines.
This request comes after the promoter received construction authorization in July of last year and the definitive approval of the project on non-urbanizable land in November.
