A fire that broke out in the early hours of Tuesday affected two vehicles parked in an outdoor car park in Ascó, on the Fatarella road, with no injuries reported.

Emergency services received the alert at 01:29 AM, promptly activating a unit from the Bombers de la Generalitat. The fire completely destroyed a small van and also damaged the cabin of a truck located in the same area.
Two fire brigades were dispatched to the scene to extinguish the flames with water. Subsequently, they sealed the area with foam to prevent any potential rekindling of the fire.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The causes that originated the fire have not yet been determined.
